The Cedar Area Select Soccer Association is an organization that provides a high quality learning environment for both developmental and skilled soccer players throughout Northern Kent County, Michigan, including extending such opportunities to children and families who are financially unable to provide their own funds to participate.  We strive to instill positive attitudes, great sportsmanship, and overall passion to play the game of soccer.

Fall 2011 & Spring 2012 Fundraising News
Fundraising dollars help CASSA keep the costs to play at a minimum while allowing the club to purchase much needed items, like the shed that was currently placed at Boomer Park. Fundraising also helps pay for the field usage at Boomer and just recently it helped subsidize the cost of the initial order of the new uniforms for each player.

Fall 2011 & Spring 2012 Price Increase
Last year club fees were $225 for a (Full Season), $120 (Half Season) and the $60 uniform cost.  This year the board approved an increase to our Full and Half season registration costs in an effort to offset GVSA and referee fee increases for the season.  Our new rate will be $320 (Full Season), $220 (Half Season) which also includes all new uniforms.  Overall our club fees have increased $35.00 in total.

Fall 2011 & Spring 2012 New Uniforms
All CASSA club players will be getting new uniforms this year due to the fact all existing uniforms have been discontinued by the manufacturer.   This is a common occurance that happens every few years.

UPDATE 2/7/2012 - The Board has decided to change vendors for uniform ordering. We are very excited to announce Gazelle as our new vendor. Using Gazelle will streamline our uniform ordering process and make the process much easier and smoother for all involved.

We also wanted to alert you that uniforms nowadays only have about a 2 year shelf life. Meaning that in the Summer of 2013 we will be going through the new uniform process for the entire club again. Please note, this will be for the teams that form for the Fall of 2013. We will be able to use the current uniforms up until the Spring season of 2013.

Using Gazelle will give the parents the opportunity to log into Gazelle's website, choose the item(s) that are needed and pay Gazelle for those items. They will be shipped directly to your home. This will eliminate wait time for you as in the past we used our Uniform Coordinator as the the ship to address for all bulk items. You will be able to order complete uniform sets, pieces (socks, shorts, tops), and even apparel.

There will be an ordering window when the shipping cost is FREE. Usually about a 10 day window, however we will alert you when the window is 'open'. After the window 'closes', you will still be able to order, it's just the shipping will have a $9.95 charge tacked onto your order.

At this time the window is open for free shipping until 2/25. So the team managers will send you the link to the site as soon as they are ready with the roster loading.

Your team manager is busy inputting the team roster into the CASSA page on the Gazelle website. That includes the uniform number of your child - so if you are ordering a jersey the number will already be input as your child's number. Once that has happened we will send you a link that you will be able to start ordering the items needed/wanted.
